Face B4 Skincare | Overview & Review*

It’s always a happy day when a product gives you super smooth movie star skin. Lord knows my skin is worse now than when I was a teenager (although I went through a very, very unattractive phase aged 12); the stresses of adult life just get to me, okay?

I show my stress through my skin – if I’ve had a few lazy days at home under a blanket with a steady stream of homemade food, I can look pretty good with no makeup on. Unfortunately most days I’m running around cleaning and organising, running errands and generally being a massive stress-head.

I was pretty excited when Makeup Revolution asked me if I wanted to trial some Face B4 products – they stock them on the site now!

Face B4 is a two-step system – you use the antibacterial face wash first, which is a combined cleanser and toner, and then finish off with the serum.

I’ve been using this system every other day for two weeks. I have very sensitive skin, so daily use was drying my skin out a little bit. Every other day, for me, works just as well.

The first thing I noticed was how soft and smooth my skin felt immediately after using the products – my face felt amazing! I was expecting my skin to feel tight and dry after using the foam, as almost all other cleansers have that effect, but I happily didn’t feel any tightness or soreness.

If I have any excess serum on my hands I use it down my neck and across my chest, because – lucky me! – I get acne there too.

I love that the cleanser/toner wash is a foam consistency; it’s more fun to use than a gel for example! The serum comes with a handy pump so you know you’re not wasting any product. I honestly really like these products – they’re novel enough that it doesn’t feel like a chore to use.

I’ll be doing a follow-up post within the week to show you before and after pictures. What do you use to cleanse your face?
