I went to my first ever bloggers event! 

My local Boots store invited some lovely bloggers (and me) to have a little look around their No. 7 counter. Cue a lot of taking photographs and saying “ooooh” really enthusiastically.

I don’t go to Boots very often (mainly because when I do, my bank balance screams at me), so I was really excited to have a little look around and get to know some more about No 7.

Something I was particularly glad about is how lovely the staff were; we were made to feel so welcome (with homemade cake and brownies!) and they really knew everything about the products they were showing us.

As someone who gets a bit nervous in shopping situations (especially with miserable sales assistants!), I really recommend popping into Boots to have a chat with the girls on the beauty floor if you want any advice on makeup or skincare, because they were really lovely!

I love facial oils, so I was really excited to try a little sample of the brand new Youthful Replenishing Facial Oil. You can add it to your moisturiser, or just use it alone, and it gives your skin a boost of moisture, and increases its radiance. I love dewy skin for Spring/Summer, so this will be perfect!

I was lucky enough to receive some products to try at home. The second I’d closed my front door I was reaching for my makeup wipes to get a nice clean face to test my new goodies on!

I chose the Instant Illusions Airbrush Away Primer, the Beautiful Skin Overnight Radiance Boost and the Beautiful Skin Hydration Mask. Expect reviews of these treats once I’ve had the chance to add them to my skincare routine.

So thank you very much, Claire and the girls at Boots Middlesbrough! I expect you’ll be seeing me again very soon. I want a go at the Match Made Foundation service, and you’re only a short walk down the road.
