If you saw my post about the bloggers event in Boots, you’ll know that some of the goodies I got to take home with me were from the No. 7 “Beautiful Skin” range.
I picked up the Hydration Mask (which is for dry/very dry skin), because anything promising a moisture boost is a must in my book, and the Overnight Radiance Boost, because Spring and Summer call for super-glowy skin.
These products were lifesavers for me (and my sister, who likes to use my fancy stuff!) on my family holiday, when my skin was exposed to freezing cold wind (thanks, English weather) and chlorine from the swimming pool.
I use the Overnight Radiance Boost every night before bed – it’s a slightly thicker consistency than my usual moisturiser, which makes for a really luxurious facial-style bedtime routine. You can smooth it on all over your face, and give yourself a little massage if you’re feeling fancy.
I use the Hydration Mask a couple of times a week, usually before bed. The bottle tells me to leave the product on for a couple of minutes and rinse off, but as we all know I rarely listen to bottles, and instead do what works for my skin. I use this as an overnight mask, and just splash my face in the morning to get rid of any residue.
I also love how the product looks in the bottle – it reminds me of a coral reef for some reason!
So what results am I seeing?
I’ve definitely noticed how soft my face feels in the morning. The Radiance Boost is even starting to tackle some of the red pigmentation along my cheeks and jawbone (where that came from I have no idea, but it was getting pretty crazy).
My skin looks glowy and fresh without makeup now – and not in the gross, oily way I’ve been used to since I was about 12. It’s encouraging me to go without foundation whenever I can, and I’m really feeling the benefit of letting my skin breathe in this lovely Spring air!
Overall, I’m really enjoying using these products, and I’m really grateful to the girls at Boots Middlesbrough for giving me the chance to try them out.
If you get a chance, pop in for a chat about any skin troubles you might be having. They really know their stuff – my extra-glowy face is proof of that.
