If you’ve stumbled across this blog and thought, “who the heck writes this stuff?!”, then hi, hello, pleased to meet you – I’m Sally.
I’m a busy bee, so this blog doesn’t always get the love and attention and premium themes it deserves. In my dreams it’s a glowy, beautiful space on the internet with dreamy OOTD shots and perfect flatlays. In reality it’s a lot of me bashing away on my laptop, struggling to find natural light to take photos, and refusing to post any picture of myself because I DON’T LIKE HOW I LOOK IN PHOTOS, OKAY?
So this is where the #GGBlogChallenge steps in. I’m going to be posting every single day in September, giving you lucky peeps 30 posts to enjoy. If I don’t manage to stick to this schedule, you’ve got permission to come to my house (dodging my guard dogs, which happen to be two extremely friendly rabbits) and cut my head off. Promise.
So – I’m Sally. I’m 21 years old and eagerly awaiting my 22nd birthday so I can play Taylor Swift ALL DAY and be generally fun-loving, responsible and photogenic.
I’m going into my third year at university (where I do Media Studies; which I thought would be a lot of running about with a camera but it’s actually more running to the SU Shop to get a vegan sausage sandwich in between lectures).
I’m vegetarian, as I have been for my entire life. I was toying with the idea of going vegan, but then I remembered cheese.
I’m a self-employed drama and musical theatre teacher and licensed children’s chaperone, and have taken exams past grade 8 all the way up to a Diploma, so now I have fancy letters after my name.
I am short (5’2) and weigh more than I’d like due to an excess of those mini brownie bites from Tesco that come in a pack of 20 and I prefer to eat in one sitting.
So this is me (and if you already knew of me, how lucky are you that you get some more insight?!), and this is my blog, and this is my first post in the #GGBlogChallenge!
Come and chat to me on Twitter @little_budget or follow me on Bloglovin (because I’m wonderful and you know it. You just don’t know you know it.)
This is such a cute intro to a challenge! I too am a sucker for those mini brownie bites, how can anyone NOT eat them in one sitting though? Who has that kind of magical power to resist? I’m 5’1, *high fives* I love meeting other short people haha. I can’t wait to see what content you come up with Sally!🙂

Hi, Sally!🙂 Just visiting blogs who are also doing the challenge!🙂 Nice to meet you!🙂
It’s a relief to know that I am not the only one who has the same struggles about taking photographs–the perfect lighting and all that. While I am now able to post a pic of my face, it was a totally different conversation a few years ago!
What does one exactly study in Media Studies? I’m very curious!🙂

Hey! Nice to meet-you-via-the-internet too!😉 Hopefully one day I’ll be confident enough to post pictures – maybe once I master the perfect selfie angle! I mainly do a lot of theory in my degree – film studies and analysis etc. It sounds boring but I do enjoy it! xx

Oh boy! 22 is the most fun age, there is actually nothing bad about it. When you turn 23 you can crank Blink 182
