If you read yesterday’s post, you’ll know that today I’m bringing you two outfit/makeup ideas – one for a night out with your friends, and one for a more casual get-together, like a meal with your friends or family. Let’s go!

Dream Look Episode 2: H&M Everything
I absolutely adore H&M. I shop there for basic pieces, as well as more ‘out-there’ ones; and their makeup range is really good too.I picked out this casual outfit, based around the gorgeous green checked shirt, which I’ll definitely be picking up instore as I love the whole American-girl flannel shirt look (you know the sort I mean: ponytail, perfect makeup, checked shirt?). The jeans are to die for: as you know I love ripped jeans (don’t want to waste your freshly shaved legs, do you?) and I find black jeans to be the most wearable.I love a turtlenecked top, and this cropped one is lovely with the high-waisted jeans. I chose a plain black beanie (and I’m seeing loose curls underneath: a look that says “I’m so casual, I definitely didn’t spend forty minutes on my outfit this morning”) and a lovely selection of olive-toned rings to give a bit more of an edge and keep the outfit from looking too slouchy.
I love the grey cardigan-style coat – my Winter coat is always oversized and therefore suitable for snuggling up in. I’ll be doing a post about styling coats and jackets for Winter soon, so keep your eyes peeled. Isn’t that a horrible expression?
I chose a nude eyeshadow palette, partly because I own it myself and love it, and partly because this outfit would look killer with a smokey but nude eye (and nude lips and bronze cheeks – I’m practically drooling). I also love the little black suede slip-on trainers, which add a bit of comfiness and simplicity.

Dream Look Episode 1: Effortless
Welcome to a new series on my blog! I absolutely adore Polyvore (which, if you don’t know, is one of the best websites in the world ever), and putting outfits and collections together is one of my favourite things to do to pass the time. It’s a great way of exploring style without having to spend money.
So, here’s the first look in the series! Enjoy.
This gorgeous loose black jumper is perfect for everyday looks; pair it with a necklace and a high messy bun and you’ve got off-duty fashion completely sorted (with as little effort as possible – score!)
I love ripped jeans. They rough an outfit up a bit, and make me feel tough. Let’s call them ‘bad-ass’ jeans.
I adore these leather boots from Forever 21. I love a bit of height from my shoes, and the platform on these is perfect for giving you height without the blisters.
I gave this look a statement bag to add a bit of fun, as well as a bright pop of colour with the lipstick (which can never be too bright – the brighter the better!). I chose a black nail polish to give the look a ‘bad girl’ edge.
What sort of look should I put together next?
