We’re halfway through Blogmas already! I was tagged by The Rose Lifestyle to do The Winter Tag (and it was my first tag, so I squealed a bit and had a proper sit-down think about my answers)!

1. What’s your favourite seasonal drink from either Starbucks/Costa or your cafe of choice?
I’m not a massive hot-drink drinker (is that a thing?) but since starting at uni I’ve become a bit of a Costa convert. We have Costa machines everywhere, and even a mini coffee shop in the library. I’m very unadventurous though. My order is usually a small hot chocolate with gingerbread syrup.

2. What accessories do you opt for? Scarf/boots/gloves?
All of the above. I like to be really layered up and cuddly and warm. I usually hide the whole bottom part of my face in my scarf as well – so I look like just a pair of eyes with a hat on.

3. What’s your favourite tunes for this time of year?
As you might know, I’m funny with music. However, I do rock out ever so slightly to Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” and as soon as I’m left alone in the house I’m whacking on a bit of “Santa Tell Me” by Ariana Grande and having a pretend pillow fight with myself. Just kidding. I don’t really do that. Do I?

4. What scent or perfume do you find yourself favouring this time of year?
I love anything spicy or crisp for Winter days; so I’m loving The Body Shop Glazed Apple eau de toilette, and LUSH’s Vanillary solid perfume. At night I am unashamed to bring out my (very) old perfume, “Immortal Twilight” (yeah, that’s the Twilight featuring sparkly vampires and half-naked werewolves. I’ll sit in the corner now).

5. What candles will you be burning this season?
Anything with “cinnamon”, “orange”, “winter”, “autumn” or “spice” in the title. I am that obsessed. At the moment though, I’m loving Kringle Candles, particularly their “mint” scent, which is a nice different touch for Winter.

6. What is it you love most about winter?
Most years I’d say “not having to do anything”, but this year I’m actually really busy (and I even have to work Christmas Eve AND Boxing Day – boo) so I’ll go with the clothes you get to wear! I’m living in fluffy beanie hats and snuggly cardigans.

7. Your favourite makeup look for winter?
Weirdly, I seem to wear a lot more bronzer in the Winter. I look more pale and my Summer freckles have disappeared, so I like to add a bit of colour into my face and jazz it up a bit with a dark lip. The closer to black the better. I wish I had the guts to wear black lipstick. Maybe I’ll try it this year!

8. What are you most looking forward to this winter?
Christmas! I got my family some really nice stuff this year and I can’t wait to give it to them. Also it’s lovely just to have everyone in the same place for once. Oh, and the food!
